Well, this wasn't really what I was hoping for, to be honest. I was hoping for more snow, and it appears as if Eau Claire is not in the right position relative to the low pressure system. Because Eau Claire falls in the eastern quadrant of the pressure system, we're currently experiencing a crappy wintry mix. The counterclockwise motion of the low pressure system is brining plenty of moisture up from the maritime tropical air masses, but it's just not cold enough here for any significant amount of snow. Ultimately, it appears as if I will not be missing class tomorrow.
